Pay: $2,180.88/week (plus $2,500 completion bonus per contract, up to $7,500 after three contracts)
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Acute Rehabilitation Unit in Lewiston, Idaho, for a 12-week travel assignment. The Acute Rehab RN plays a key role in helping patients with disabilities, injuries, or chronic illnesses achieve their highest possible level of independence and function.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate compassion, clinical expertise, and the ability to support patients and families through the rehabilitation process in an acute hospital setting.
Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with physical, neurological, or medical rehabilitation needs.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
Promote self-care, functional mobility, and independence through patient and family education.
Administer prescribed medications, monitor vital signs, and document patient progress accurately.
Use safe patient handling equipment, mobility aids, and assistive devices appropriately.
Support a therapeutic and encouraging environment that facilitates physical, psychosocial, and spiritual healing.
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other team members to coordinate patient care and discharge planning.
Adhere to infection control protocols, safety procedures, and regulatory standards.
License: Current RN license in Idaho or active compact multistate license (must be attached to resume).
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent Acute Rehabilitation experience in a hospital setting.
Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS) – must be through the American Heart Association (copy required).
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Adaptable and compassionate approach to patient care.
