Shift: 4×12 Days
Pay: $2,697.60/week (plus $2,500 completion bonus per contract, up to $7,500 after three contracts)
We are seeking a skilled Medical-Surgical/Telemetry RN for a 13-week travel assignment. The RN will provide high-quality care to patients on a 26-bed MedSurg/Telemetry unit, primarily managing cardiac patients including CHF, acute MI, post-device care (pacemakers), and arrhythmias. The ideal candidate is comfortable with floating as needed, handling a 1:5 to 1:7 patient ratio, and has EPIC charting experience.
Deliver comprehensive nursing care to MedSurg/Telemetry patients.
Monitor and manage cardiac rhythms; interpret and respond to dysrhythmias.
Collaborate with Rapid Response and Code teams during emergencies.
Administer medications, IV therapy, and perform peripheral line care.
Provide respiratory support including nasal cannula, oxygen face masks, portable oxygen tanks, and non-invasive airway management.
Maintain accurate EPIC documentation for all treatments and assessments.
Adhere to infection control and isolation precautions.
Float to other areas as needed based on unit staffing requirements.
Participate in weekend and holiday coverage as required.
Active New York RN license in hand (no exceptions).
Minimum 1 year of RN experience, preferably in MedSurg or Telemetry.
EPIC charting experience is required.
ACLS and BLS certifications required.
Must live more than 75 miles from the facility.
First-time travelers accepted.
Ability to manage a patient ratio of 1:5 to 1:7.
Comfortable floating to other units as needed.
