Registered Nurse – Dialysis Travel Position

Location: Rochester, NY
Job Type: Travel Contract
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 3×12 Days
Pay: $2,055.60/weekly (plus $2,500 completion bonus per contract, up to $7,500 after three contracts)

 

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment. The RN will provide direct patient care in the dialysis unit, performing treatments, monitoring patients, and managing care according to established protocols. The ideal candidate has EPIC charting experience, strong clinical skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing dialysis treatments.

  • Monitor patient vitals, response to treatments, and overall condition.

  • Administer medications and manage IV therapy as prescribed.

  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure individualized patient care.

  • Respond to patient needs, emergencies, and complications appropriately.

  • Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC for all treatments, assessments, and interventions.

  • Adhere to infection control protocols, safety standards, and unit policies.

  • Participate in on-call rotations as required.

  • Float to other areas of the unit as needed.

 

Qualifications

  • Active New York RN license in hand (no exceptions).

  • Minimum 1 year of RN experience (acute care or dialysis preferred).

  • EPIC charting experience is required.

  • Must live more than 75 miles from the facility.

  • BLS required.

  • First-time travelers accepted.

  • Flexible availability for weekends and one winter holiday.
