Key Responsibilities:  

• Provide comprehensive nursing care, including assessments, medication administration, wound care, and emergency interventions. 

• Respond promptly to medical emergencies and urgent care situations. 

• Monitor and manage chronic health conditions and collaborate with providers on treatment plans. 

• Perform intake screenings, health assessments, and triage for new inmates. 

• Educate patients on health maintenance, medication adherence, and disease prevention. 

• Accurately document patient care and maintain medical records in compliance with facility policies and regulations. 

Qualifications:  

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing 

• Active RN license in New Mexico 

• BLS certification required 

• Minimum 1 year experience in correctional settings
