Cardiac Cath & EP Lab Registered Nurse (RN) - Travel Position
Location: Bismarck, ND
Job Type: Travel Contract
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 5x8s Days, On Call
Pay: $3555/week
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Cardiac Cath & EP Lab RN to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical expertise in cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures, excellent critical thinking skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced procedural environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive nursing care while monitoring and circulating Cath Lab and EP procedures.
Assist with and support procedures including: LHC, PCI, Impella, TAVR, Watchman, EP studies, Ablations, Pacemakers, ICDs, BI-Vs, AAA endografts, and peripheral interventions.
Collaborate with cardiologists, EP physicians, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, high-quality patient care.
Utilize advanced equipment and programs such as Siemens X-ray, McKesson Hemo, and EPIC for charting and documentation.
Maintain readiness and competency in emergency situations and provide immediate interventions as needed.
Educate patients and families on procedures, aftercare, and follow-up care instructions.
Qualifications:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
Active RN license in ND (or compact state)
Minimum 1 year Cath Lab and/or EP Lab nursing experience
Current BLS and ACLS (AHA)
Schedule & Call Requirements:
Call Requirements: On call 2 days per week and every other weekend
Weekend Requirement: On call
Holiday Requirement: On call
Additional Details:
Float Expectations: May float between Cath Lab and Electrophysiology (EP) Lab as needed
