Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) - Travel Position  
Location: Dickinson, ND 
Job Type: Travel Contract   
Duration: 13 weeks  
Shift: 3x12s Rotation 
Pay: $2174/week  

Job Description:  

We are seeking a highly skilled and resilient Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This is a critical role in a fast-paced 4-bed unit, caring for patients with life-threatening conditions. The ICU RN is responsible for providing advanced monitoring, managing complex medical equipment, and implementing life-sustaining interventions. The ideal candidate is a critical thinker who remains calm under pressure and has extensive experience in a high-acuity environment.

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Provide direct, high-acuity care to critically ill patients.
  • Monitor and manage various complex medical devices, including ventilators and hemodynamic monitoring systems.
  • Administer life-sustaining medications and interventions with precision.
  • Assess patient conditions and respond quickly to changes in status.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other specialists to develop and execute care plans.
  • Maintain meticulous and accurate documentation of all patient care, assessments, and interventions.

Qualifications:  

  • Active RN license in North Dakota or a compact license.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications.
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience.
  • COVID vaccine and recent TB test may be required.
