Registered Nurse – Radiology Travel Position

Pay: $2,540/week (plus $2,500 completion bonus per contract, up to $7,500 after three contracts)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Radiology Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Corpus Christi, TX. The Radiology RN will provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic imaging and interventional radiology procedures, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care to patients before, during, and after diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures.
  • Monitor patients’ vital signs, assess responses to treatments, and report any significant changes promptly.
  • Administer prescribed medications, sedation, and contrast agents as required.
  • Assist radiologists and interventional teams during procedures, maintaining a sterile and safe environment.
  • Educate patients and families about procedures, recovery expectations, and post-procedure care.
  • Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in compliance with facility protocols.

Qualifications

  • Active RN license in Texas or a compact state.
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent radiology or interventional radiology nursing experience (travel experience preferred).
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications (additional facility-required certifications as applicable).
  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination and recent tuberculosis test.
  • Strong assessment, critical-thinking, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced procedural environment.
