Acute Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer) - Travel Position  

Location: Boston, MA 

Job Type: Travel Contract   

Duration: 13 weeks  

Shift: 5x8s 

Pay: $2735/week  

Job Description:  

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Ultrasound Technologist to join our team. The Sonographer will perform high-quality ultrasound examinations, ensure patient safety and comfort, and assist physicians in accurate diagnosis. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, technically proficient, and committed to delivering exceptional imaging services. 

Key Responsibilities:  

• Perform ultrasound procedures in accordance with physician orders and imaging protocols. 

• Prepare and position patients for imaging, ensuring comfort and safety throughout exams. 

• Operate ultrasound equipment and adjust technical factors to produce optimal images. 

• Review images for quality and collaborate with radiologists for interpretation. 

• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation. 

• Educate patients on procedures and provide compassionate support. 

• Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards. 

Qualifications:  

• Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program 

• Certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) in one or more specialties 

• BLS certification, COVID vaccine, TB test 

• Minimum 1 year of ultrasound/sonography experience
