Job Type: 13-Week Contract

Pay: $36-38/hour depending on experience and unit worked

Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at ATC Healthcare. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to patients in various settings. Your expertise will contribute significantly to patient recovery and overall well-being.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and assess patients' respiratory status and adjust treatments accordingly.
• Educate patients and their families on respiratory care techniques and equipment usage.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of treatments provided.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards in all procedures.

Requirements

• Valid Respiratory Therapist license in the state of practice.
• Proven experience in a clinical setting, preferably in ICU or inpatient care.
• Strong knowledge of respiratory therapy techniques and equipment.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
• Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and teamwork.
